Privacy Policy

ACTIVE is committed to preserving the privacy of the visitors to the ACTIVE Websites and complying with current international data protection laws and regulations in respect of personal information. ACTIVE will only obtain personal information from you for specified and lawful purposes and any personal information which ACTIVE obtains will be processed fairly and lawfully.

References to “ACTIVE websites” means any of ACTIVE’s websites from time to time including www.active-vp.com and www.acpvc.com (and any replacement URL of such websites) and includes the text, images and content (video, graphics and sounds) in such websites (the “Content”).
In dealing with ACTIVE you may provide ACTIVE with personal information about yourself. This Privacy Policy sets out the policies governing the use by ACTIVE of such personal information. By using the ACTIVE Websites you consent to the use of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Policy.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

In accordance with the provisions of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you that any personal data which may be supplied to us will be added to the personal data files which are owned and managed by Active Capital Partners, SL, and Active Venture Partners, SGEIC SAU. The data is kept in order to maintain and manage our relationship with you, and, possibly send you information about our activities that we believe may be of interest. The personal data provided will be kept as long as the commercial relationship is maintained, and once the relationship ends, the legally established time will be blocked before it is destroyed.

• Access your personal data, as well as request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes that were collected.

• In certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the interested parties may object to the processing of their data.
• In certain circumstances, by virtue of the right of portability, the interested parties will have the right to obtain their personal data in a structured format of common use and mechanical reading and transmit it to another person in charge.
If you consider that your rights have not been adequately addressed, you have the right to file a claim with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection.

LEGAL NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS

In accordance with the provisions of Spanish Law 15/1999 of the 13th December regarding data protection (la Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal), we inform you that any personal data, obtained from you as the contact person of one of our suppliers, will be added to the personal data files which are owned and managed by Active Venture Partners, SGEIC, SAU / Active Capital Partners, SL. They are kept in order to maintain and manage our relationship with you and carry out private communications within the legitimate purposes of the company. Your data will be treated according to the privacy policy of the company, and in accordance with Spanish Law 15/1999 of the 13th December regarding data protection (la Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal) and the Regulatory Decree. Only employees and departments of Active Venture Partners, SGEIC, SAU / Active Capital Partners, SL, will have access to the data provided by you as far as it is necessary to carry out their functions.

 

You have a period of thirty (30) days to notify us of your refusal to consent to the processing and transfer of your data. If you do not notify us during that period then it is understood that you have given us your consent.

We also inform you that you may withdraw your consent at any time, and exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition to the processing of such data, as recognised by Law 15/1999 of December 13, by sending a written request to Active Venture Partners, SGEIC SAU, by post to its registered office at Avenida Diagonal 401, 2º Bis, 08008, Barcelona, or by email to: lopd@active-vp.com.

DATA THAT ACTIVE COLLECTS FROM YOU

ACTIVE collects personal information about you: when you visit to the ACTIVE Websites, request services or otherwise provide us with your personal details (such as your name, contact details, e-mail address etc); and from your usage of the ACTIVE Websites and any other information you post on the ACTIVE Websites, e-mail or otherwise send to us.

The information recorded automatically by the servers hosting ACTIVE Websites when you use the sites, including details of your domain name, IP address, operating system and browser, may be used by ACTIVE to help diagnose problems with our information technology, administer the ACTIVE Websites, help to identify you, gather demographic data, and understand who has seen which pages, in order that ACTIVE can and improve ACTIVE Websites.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The personal information you provide to us will be treated as confidential.
